The Project

The existing Equilibrant Ltd Consulting Engineers website had been in place for a number of years and while the overall appearance was okay, the lack of responsive design and facility to add new content when needed had become an issue.

We were asked to prepare a new design concept which modernised the existing site, incorporated newly identified requirements and worked consistently across various desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

The Solution

The re-design started with layout mock-ups which the client could use to visualise the new website's look. Once agreed we created a bespoke template for Joomla, the content management system used for this project, to incorporate all the design requirements.

The design provides a new fresher look for the site and adds greater structure to the existing and new content which can now be updated easily thanks to the Joomla content management system. Fully responsive, the new website provides consistency across devices and an included backup system ensures that a version of the site is always stored for any unforeseen circumstances.
