LIFT, Labour In Faith and Trust, is a Christian organisation dedicated to helping Christians create teams to complete construction and medical projects for mission organisations around the world. We have been working with them for some time and was asked to replace the existing website with a new responsive design.
The Project
LIFT needed a fresh look for their existing site with easy to use features and forms for contact and volunteer sign up.
Staff would also be trained to use the Joomla content management system so that regular updates could be made at any time.
The Solution
We created a website which simplified the initial user experience by using large icons with simple textual headings beneath. Animated rotations of the icons would help visitors know when the panel was active.
The website is fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile devices and includes a translation system powered by Google. The main menu and search functions remain available top of the screen during scrolling to ensure visitors always have access.
In addition to the standard contact form, a bespoke sign up form was created for those wanting to join a team. There are also integrated gallery and video systems and through use of an external facility, all LIFT magazines are presented in fully animated on-line versions.
